

Cooking for kids
18 months to 18 years
Oui Chef provides traditional (and fun!) culinary classes for children ages 18 months to 18 years in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Chef Laura Ragano, owner and chef, is classically trained and passionate about teaching kids the skills and techniques to become chefs in their own homes. Oui Chef is focused on small class sizes, individual work and individual attention.
How it works
Oui Chef classes are enrolling at all times and tuition is charged monthly. You are not committed beyond 1 month of class. The program is designed to teach students cooking techniques as well as about the food and ingredients they are using. And when caregivers are required in class, Oui Chef teaches them methods to involve their child in food preparation at home. Most classes are 75 minutes long which allows for students to do individual work on recipes and chef instructors time to coach based on skill level. Classes are based around a core theme to provide continuity.
